Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on systems development using C, C++, or Rust.
• 2+ years of experience in developing and operating production software in Rust.
• Proficient in building Windows systems software utilizing Win32 APIs.
• Experience in delivering cross-platform software for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in the design and delivery of complex, concurrent, or distributed systems with multiple engineers or teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of the architecture for the RMM endpoint agent across multiple operating systems.
• Design, build, and operate systems-level components using Rust and C/C++.
• Define interfaces and communication methods between endpoint agents and distributed backend services.
• Develop secure networking capabilities using protocols such as TLS, gRPC, and MQTT.
• Optimize agent performance, including concurrency and resource usage for reliability.
• Own critical components from design through deployment and production support.
• Lead design and code reviews while mentoring engineers to establish development best practices.
