- Experienced in Linux administration with a preference for Ubuntu package management

- Strong experience with modern (on-prem/cloud) fleet management tools
- Experience with monitoring, observability, availability engineering, and the art of performance metrics

The Opportunity We OfferAs a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing the infrastructure for Quantifind's systems. Our stack includes fleet management in an IT fashion, fleet management in a Datacenter fashion, back-end services and infrastructure, machine learning modules surfaced through REST APIs, and React-based front-end web applications. As a member of our DevOps Team, you will have a big impact on how we build, automate, and scale our technology and processes. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, solving problems, automating deployments, and championing best practices.
Our technology includes: Ubuntu, Ganeti, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, git, Hadoop, Nagios, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, and in-house Scala and NodeJS applications. We deploy to our own data centers and to AWS.
Quantifind's development team is centered in Palo Alto, California, and we have technology hubs in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Washington, D.C. Quantifind is currently using a hybrid mix of working from home and in the office, with regular in-person touchpoints and shared office space.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000 to $220,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
