Full Job Description
Come join the QuickBooks Capital and Lending Platform as a Staff Software Engineer in Data. You will join an innovative and passionate team of engineers using cutting edge technologies like Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL, Data Bricks, Big Data fundamentals, AWS, Elastic Search, Kafka, to build enterprise scale data engineering pipelines and features for our QuickBooks Capital customers. We are looking for an engineer with a background in data engineering and experience working in a data engineering team for 7+ years.

Responsibilities
  • Understand functional requirements, develop technical designs and specifications, code and test.
  • You will be required to size work of medium to large complexity and manage timelines and deliveries.
  • Designing/developing software using data engineering technologies.
  • You will be spending 90% hands-on designing, coding, testing and supporting production systems (on-call).
  • Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, other engineering teams and business units to drive forward results.
  • Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
  • Data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Production support via quarterly on-call rotations to monitor production systems and resolve production errors & incidents.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: $202,500 - $274,000.
