Overview

The Senior UX Researcher is part of the Experience Design organization, reporting to the Director of Experience Design. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering and eCommerce business stakeholders, you'll generate customer insights that shape product strategy, inform design decisions, and improve experiences across our digital ecosystem. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute research plans aligned with product strategy, customer needs, and business priorities. 
  • Conduct qualitative and mixed-method research, including customer interviews, usability testing, surveys, concept testing, and journey mapping. 
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that influence product strategy and design decisions. 
  • Partner cross-functionally throughout discovery, design, and delivery to ensure customer insights are embedded in the product development lifecycle. 
  • Present research findings through compelling storytelling tailored to a variety of audiences. 
  • Help scale research practices, repositories, and best practices across the Experience Design organization. 
  • Mentor designers and cross-functional partners on research methods and customer-centered thinking. 
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of UX research experience within digital product organizations, retail / eCommerce experience preferred. 
  • Expertise across qualitative research methods, with experience leveraging quantitative data to strengthen insights. 
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills. 
  • Experience collaborating across Product Management, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency with modern research and collaboration tools, including Dscout, Dovetail, Miro, Figma, or similar platforms.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $115,000 - $125,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
