Amazon Heavy & Bulky Logistics (AMXL) is seeking an experienced supply chain manager to drive demand planning initiatives and process integration across the last mile delivery network.
This role will own identify and own forecasting modelling improvements, defines multi-year road map of evolving forecasting infrastructure, owns network forecast accuracy to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. As an individual contributor, this person will influence across multiple teams while maintaining deep expertise in last mile supply chain, acting as a strategic connector between tech and science teams, planning and execution teams, and program delivery.
Key job responsibilities
- Leads complex and highly ambiguous initiatives that impact demand planning such as Hard Regionalization, DoW Jur optimization, SOG Capping, 3P capacity impacts, HVE capping strategy etc
- Leads the identification of new modeling improvements, defines muti-year roadmap of evolving demand forecasting infrastructure to improve YoY.
- Owns and leads the cross-functional collaboration strategy to improve forecasting WAPE
- Develops AI workflows and solutions to improve the forecasting accuracy and turnaround time and delivers operational excellence to internal customers
- Influences cross-functional teams as an IC - partnering with data science, BIE, tech, planning, operations and execution stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic goals and key metrics
- Drives forecasting and demand planning standardization by establishing governance frameworks, standardizing processes and aligning methodologies and tools with best practices across the organization
- Retrieves, analyzes, and manages large datasets using Excel, SQL, and other data systems to support initiative scoping, planning, and scenario analysis.
- Provides governance and status communication to senior leaders across business functions, including milestones, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
- Documents modeling logic, assumptions, processes, and outputs to ensure clarity, reproducibility, and continuity across the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
