Full Job Description
We are dedicated to transforming patient and provider experiences through innovative cloud solutions, including the operational and legal foundations that support them. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Owner with deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud to own the platform that houses and manages Legal's data, ownership contracts, clinician contracts, and independent contractor agreements, and feeds that data into Legal's contract execution system. As Sr. Product Owner, you will define and drive the roadmap for PDS Health4 Legal's Salesforce capabilities, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of Legal, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
Note: Legal executes and manages contracts directly into their CLM system. This role does not own CLM, it owns Salesforce Service Cloud, including the data models, intake, and workflows that feed accurate, complete contract data into CLM.
In this role, you will implement enhancements to our existing Service Cloud capabilities for Legal, while also evaluating and potentially leading net-new implementations as request volume and data complexity grow, partnering with existing and new vendors along the way. You will work closely with engineering, design, and Legal/contract operations to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and CLM.
**Responsibilities**
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities that support Legal, aligning enhancements with Legal's needs and business objectives.
- Own and evolve the distinct data models within Service Cloud for each contract type, ownership contracts, clinician contracts, and independent contractor agreements, each of which carries different fields, approval paths, and data requirements.
- Own the Salesforce-to-DocuSign CLM data integration: define and govern what data is captured in Service Cloud, how it's structured, and how it flows into CLM so Legal can execute contracts accurately and without rework.
- Partner with Legal leadership and run working sessions with legal systems team to surface pain points, translating them into a prioritized set of epics, features, and user stories.
- Own and prioritize the backlog of Legal requests in Service Cloud across contract types, weighing intake volume, cycle time, data quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Drive intake and triage processes in Service Cloud so Legal and requesting business stakeholders have clear, real-time visibility into request status across a high volume of concurrent requests.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management for the Legal Service Cloud product line, coordinating with architects, engineering, and implementation/integration vendors.
- Plan and communicate releases to minimize disruption to live Legal operations, factoring in peak volume periods (ex: contract renewal cycles, fiscal year-end).
- Report on roadmap progress and performance metrics (ex: request cycle time, data accuracy/completeness into CLM, backlog volume by contract type, stakeholder satisfaction) to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate product releases internally and with vendors, considering dependencies and potential impacts on other teams and systems.
- Foster strong collaboration between Legal, IT, and other business stakeholder teams for holistic product development.
- Stay informed on legal/contract management industry trends, Salesforce platform updates, and competitor offerings to keep our solutions cutting-edge; actively pursue professional development and share insights with the team.
**Required**

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or similar) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong IT background with deep understanding of development principles and concepts. Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, including data modeling for varied record types with different business rules, alongside a solid grasp of APIs, Pub/Sub architectures, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience owning integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems (ex:contract lifecycle management platforms), including data mapping and governance across systems.
- Highly organized, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear epics, features, and user stories for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with prioritization frameworks (ex:MoSCoW, Value vs. Effort, Kano Model).
- Significant experience leading products/projects with budgets of $1M or more. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage risk, and track progress within a large organization. Experience with stakeholder management at all levels.
- Certified Product Owner, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or related certification/experience.
**Preferred**
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with legal operations, contract lifecycle management, or a regulated industry (dental, healthcare, or similar).
- Familiarity with DocuSign CLM or comparable contract lifecycle management platforms.
- Solid technical understanding of Salesforce modules, architecture, and cloud concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute initiatives, and to draw valid conclusions, apply sound judgment, and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to stay current on technology trends and operational initiatives impacting IT planning.
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with team members and department leaders, instilling trust, alignment, and transparency.
- Strong grounding in communication fundamentals, teambuilding, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration.
