Sr. Sales Executive, Philadelphia

Opportunity

Kohler is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to grow our Project business and deliver sales and market-share objectives within the Philadelphia metropolitan market. This hunter-focused role will win new customers, prospect priority project segments such as multifamily, hospitality & commercial developments, build influential relationships, and develop a qualified pipeline from early planning through award. Success requires strong business-development discipline, consultative selling skills, proficient Salesforce /CRM management, and collaboration across the project ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Win new business: Identify and pursue new developers, projects, and decision-makers across multifamily, hospitality, high-rise residential, office, stadium/arena, and commercial segments.
  • Prospect consistently: Use outbound outreach, construction databases, referrals, networking, and industry events to uncover opportunities before specifications are finalized.
  • Build and convert pipeline: Manage opportunities from early planning and design through specification, bid, award, and closeout; qualify deals, map stakeholders, advance next steps, and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Forge strong relationships: Build trusted partnerships with developers, architects, designers, general contractors, mechanical contractors, distributors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Drive specifications and sales: Align Kohler solutions to customer needs, influence product selection, prepare competitive quotations, and convert opportunities into profitable revenue.
  • Execute market strategy: Deliver annual sales, market-share, and Market Development Plan objectives for the assigned MSA.
  • Provide market intelligence: Monitor construction activity, competitive threats, pricing, product gaps, and emerging opportunities; share actionable recommendations with sales leadership.
  • Collaborate across channels: Partner with sales, branch, operations, customer service, marketing, pricing, and product teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain CRM discipline: Keep customer, activity, quotation, pipeline, next-step, and forecast information current in Salesforce and complete required sales reporting.
  • Represent Kohler in the market: Build visibility, relationships, and leads through relevant trade and industry organizations.


Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, building products, project sales, or a design-related industry
  • Demonstrated success prospecting, winning new business, and building a pipeline that converts to revenue
  • Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales and influencing specifications
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of the construction and development process
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms; Salesforce experience preferred

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
