Job Summary:

The world's fastest-growing AI platforms don't run on ideas - they run inside precision-engineered server chassis. As a Sr. Chassis Product Manager at Supermicro, you won't just manage a product line - you'll architect the foundation that powers hyperscale datacenters, liquid-cooled AI clusters, and next-generation compute.

You will lead end-to-end chassis product development - from defining specifications and reviewing complex mechanical designs to controlling schedules and driving aggressive time-to-market launches. Working cross-functionally with engineering, thermal, power, sales, and operations teams, you'll deliver application-optimized, performance-driven chassis platforms that enable the latest GPU and AI server architectures.

This is a role for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of hardware innovation, execution discipline, and market strategy - someone who can translate datacenter trends into competitive chassis solutions and ensure on-time delivery at scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Develop and manage the product life cycle of server chassis products, including product development phase: product conception, specification, scheduling, prototyping, tooling; as well as mass production phase: product support and maintenance of the entire product life cycle
• Create and present chassis product roadmap
• Closely work with engineering teams to review the product specification and design of chassis mechanical, thermal, system architecture to enable competitive, high quality server chassis product
• Lead cross-functional team to ensure time-to-market product launch and on-time delivery
• Closely work with oversea ODM vendor on server chassis product design and development, design review, chassis parts tooling fabrication and production ramp-up, set-up
• Work with marketing and sales on new chassis products launch and promotion
• Utilize strong project management and technical leadership to drive Super Micro server chassis products business and promote to worldwide sales and customers

Qualifications:
• BS/MS degree in engineering discipline is strongly desirable
• 8+ years of experience in server or ME hardware industry is preferred
• Product development and management experience in server chassis mechanical, thermal, and system design
• Strong knowledge of server system architecture, chassis, hardware and applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage from technical details to big picture
• Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and presenting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Individual must be able to work effectively in a highly paced environment

Salary Range

$150,000 - $182,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
