LOCATION: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid, 3 - 4 days in-office per week with occasional travel to Los Angeles)
REPORTS TO: VP, Strategic Finance
The Role:Sunbit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance to help unlock its next phase of growth. In this role, you will serve as a critical thought partner to senior leadership, driving strategic planning, capital allocation, pricing analysis and new market evaluations.

RequirementsWhat You'll Own:- Strategic Initiatives: Lead financial strategy for existing and new products, pricing, and business lines. Evaluate ROI and payback for investments and expansion opportunities.
- Board Reporting: Synthesize complex financial data into insights that power compelling board decks, fundraising materials, and leadership updates.
- Business Partnering: Own finance partnerships for GTM, Merchant, or Customer teams. Build scalable, driver-based revenue models that enhance visibility and accountability.
- Special Projects: Support M&A, new markets, and investment decisions as needed.
- Tools & Data: Push forward our data and tooling infrastructure to unlock strategic insights and scale strategic finance as a function.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA, CPA, CFA is often preferred
- Have 6-8 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, Consulting, or Private Equity.
- Expert at financial modeling, scenario analysis, and distilling insights from large data sets.
- Adept at crafting C-level narratives using Excel and PowerPoint, experience business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence without authority.
- Deep understanding of balance sheet lending and consumer credit dynamics, required.
How We Pay:- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
- We are targeting a salary of $165,000 - $195,000 per year for this role
- This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
