  • Build, manage, and advance a high-quality pipeline of investment opportunities, driving progression from initial engagement through to decision.
  • Lead targeted outreach to generate new opportunities and serve as a primary point of contact for companies considering growth and expansion.
  • Identify and address risks and barriers to investment in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM practices in HubSpot, ensuring accurate tracking of pipeline activity, progression, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of pipeline management, conversion strategies, and business development processes.

  • Position the Edmonton Region by aligning company objectives with regional capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Build tailored business cases and value propositions that clearly demonstrate Edmonton's competitive position.

Site Selection & Analysis
  • Support site selection processes and develop comparative jurisdiction analysis, including cost structures, labour availability, market access, logistics, and incentives.
  • Conduct company, market, and sector research to inform targeting, outreach, and opportunity development.

Partnerships & Intelligence Gathering
  • Engage with Trade Commissioner Services, Government of Alberta, and other partners to strengthen value propositions and generate qualified leads.
  • Work closely with municipal partners, government stakeholders, and industry to coordinate engagement strategies that support investment attraction.

What You Bring

  • Experience working in a B2B environment, engaging with senior decision-makers and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how companies evaluate growth and investment decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior-level stakeholders.
  • A high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent.

Who You Are
  • Commercially driven and focused on outcomes, investment decisions, and deal progression.
  • A strategic thinker who can connect company needs with regional opportunities.
