This role is ideal for a strategic project leader with extensive experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects involving networking, IT asset management, technology deployments, and vendor coordination.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple high-impact initiatives, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while driving measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage projects involving network infrastructure, structured cabling, audio-visual technologies, endpoint lifecycle management, and enterprise technology deployments.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and communicate project status, risks, milestones, and financial performance to leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and technical resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee infrastructure implementation activities including network upgrades, technology relocations, and equipment deployments.
- Support enterprise IT asset lifecycle initiatives, including hardware refresh planning, inventory management, and asset governance.
- Manage infrastructure-related vendor engagements, procurement coordination, and installation schedules.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, timelines, and project health while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to improve future delivery.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 8-10 years of enterprise IT Project Management experience.
- Proven success delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in complex organizations.
- Extensive experience managing:
- Network infrastructure projects
- Enterprise technology deployments
- IT asset lifecycle initiatives
- Vendor and contractor management
- Strong experience managing executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologies.
- Experience using MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar PM tools.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial management experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications - PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
- Experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, copper, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, construction documentation, and BICSI standards.
- RCDD certification (active or inactive) or related infrastructure certification.
- Experience developing enterprise device lifecycle management programs.
- Knowledge of UPS infrastructure planning and technology lifecycle replacement programs.
- Experience supporting higher education, healthcare, or other large enterprise environments.
