Key Responsibilities - Lead planning and execution of large, complex IT projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure projects remain aligned with established objectives and timelines.
- Translate business requirements and organizational priorities into actionable project plans.
- Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
- Ensure project plans address technology delivery, organizational readiness, change management, and operational transition.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive sponsors.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication regarding progress, decisions, risks, and next steps.
- Provide regular status reporting and performance updates to leadership and governance groups.
- Track project financials, resource utilization, milestones, and overall project health.
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams while establishing accountability and clear ownership.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes, and organizational outcomes.
- Coordinate post-project activities, including lessons learned, documentation, and transition to operational teams.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of progressive IT project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Experience delivering enterprise technology projects involving areas such as infrastructure, applications, cloud, data, CRM, ERP, or system integrations.
- Strong experience working with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Experience managing organizational change, competing priorities, and complex project dependencies.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Experience with project management platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Jira.
- Strong budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and financial oversight capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications - PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or comparable project management certification.
- Experience leading enterprise technology implementations through adoption and post-go-live stabilization.
- Experience with organizational change and operational readiness.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging enterprise technologies.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
