Job Description:

This person will join the growing MPS San Jose team, serving as the technical support contact for key MPS accounts in the San Jose area. The main responsibility of this position is to engage with key customers and secure design wins incorporating MPS products and services. The FAE is also responsible for defining and sharing current and emerging customer technical needs to improve tactical and strategic product positioning.

Essential Functions:

  • Contribute to MPS US Revenue growth through direct and in-direct technical activities.
  • Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
  • Provide deep technical support to customers to meet or improve upon customer’s requirements with MPS products, specifically multiphase, high current DC/DC.
  • Provide thorough customer design support including schematic and PCB layout review
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
  • Gather potential market moves and competitors’ activities for MPS product strategy.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years power management and analog systems experience.
  • Hands on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
  • Experience with multiphase, Intel and/or AMD VR requirements and specifications preferred
  • Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
  • Oral /written proficiency in English.
  • Willing to drive to local customers and spend time in lab as needed.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The target hiring range for this position in California is $130,000 - $175,000.
