Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer for our Test Power Electronics team. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Review electrical schematics, PCB designs, and conduct test plans for EV charging power electronics systems. - Conduct verification tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements. - Capability to analyze root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently. - Design and set up test benches with automation instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for performance evaluation. - Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing, verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scopes, etc.). - Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. Qualifications - Bachelors, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing preferred. - Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals. - Good hands-on experience for hardware test and validation. - Familiar with various equipment (force gauge, thermocouples, power supplies, multimeter, hi-pot tester, etc.) - Knowledge of automotive and industrial environmental reliability requirements (GMW, ISO, IEC standards). Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Base Pay Range (Annual) $144,000-$198,000 USD Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
