Position Summary:The Senior Director, Community Management provides strategic leadership and oversight across a large-scale, complex portfolio of apartment communities. This role is responsible for leading and developing leaders, driving associate engagement, operational excellence, and maximizing long-term financial performance. The Senior Director also participates in the development, rollout and execution of business initiatives throughout the Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximize the overall financial performance across the portfolio and manage revenue and expenses to the Business Plan, providing a high level narrative for monthly financial variances.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), implement and execute strategies to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Lead and develop a team of direct reports, including hiring, training, coaching and managing associate performance and development.Ensure the physical presentation across assigned communities consistently reflects brand standards, establishing long term capital expenditure priorities.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure policies, procedures, brand standards and legal compliance are followed at all times.
- Develop and implement portfolio operating strategies informed by analytics and in collaboration with business partners.
- Leads and executes strategic projects and initiatives within the portfolio.
Additional Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication; Multilingual ability is a plus.
- Travel between communities is required
- Proficiency in Google suite
Preferred Education:- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:- 7+ years
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Salesforce, RealPage or Coupa is preferred.
Additional Requirements:- Valid California driver's license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations: Compensation:Base Pay Range: $165,200.00 - $215,400.00 + annual bonus*
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. Bonus amount, eligibility and payout(s) are subject to change at any time.
