We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focusing on battery management system (BMS). The Role: • Design, validate, and enhance battery management system (BMS) for electric vehicles • Be responsible for prototyping, testing and validation of BMS. • Contribute to drivetrain and vehicle level integrations from prototype to production • Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring the product into mass production • Be part of a team to develop amazing electronics products Qualifications: • Solid background in electronics components and circuits • Debugging/validation experience with MCU, OpAmp, AD/DA, SPI, CAN, etc. • Hands on experience for hardware development and troubleshooting • Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools • Familiar with various equipment (Oscilloscope, probe, power analyzer, etc.) • Experience in EMI test and mitigation Preferred: • PhD in Electrical Engineering + 0 years relevant experience • Masters in electrical engineering + 3 years relevant experience • Bachelors in electrical engineering + 5 years relevant experience • Hands on experience with BMS hardware design • Knowledge of FPGA design & implementation • Knowledge of safety and EMI requirements related to high power applications • Familiarity with embedded software design • Experience with Vector CANape/CANalyzer • Experience with high-voltage Minimum: • Bachelors in the areas of electronic or electrical engineering. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Base Pay Range (Annual) $144,000-$198,000 USD Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
