Department: Speech Therapy

Schedule: Full Time Days, 8 hour shift

Facility:Bridgton Hospital

Location:Bridgton, ME 04009

Sign-on Bonus: up to $10,000!

Responsibilities

Responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician. Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.Graduate of an accredited college or university with a masters degree in speech-language pathology required.

2.Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.

3.Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action 64 OR 64 Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.

4.At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.

5.Current BLS for healthcare providers certification upon hire and maintain current.

Bridgton Hospitaloffers competitivecompensationand a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.00to $43.76per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will bedeterminedat the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
