Key Responsibilities- Design develop test and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Build responsive scalable and userfriendly mobile applications following Android best practices
- Develop clean reusable and maintainable code using MVVM Clean Architecture and Repository patterns
- Integrate RESTful APIs and thirdparty SDKs
- Work closely with Product Owners UIUX Designers QA Engineers and Backend Developers throughout the SDLC
- Optimize application performance memory usage battery consumption and responsiveness
- Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure application quality
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve production issues
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Ensure compliance with security privacy and coding standards
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store
- Stay updated with emerging Android technologies and recommend improvements
Required Skills- 5-7 years of handson experience in Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with Android SDK and Android Jetpack components
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Clean Architecture principles
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and XMLbased UI development
- Knowledge of Coroutines Flow LiveData and ViewModel
- Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit or similar libraries
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger
- Experience with Room Database and SQLite
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience using Git and Gitbased workflows
- Familiarity with CICD pipelines for Android applications
- Experience with AgileScrum methodologies
