Position Description
CGI is looking for a Solution Designer specializing in Modern Workplace and Endpoint Management to support the evolution of workplace technology solutions for one of our clients.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, modernization, and security of digital workplace environments, with a particular focus on Microsoft Intune.
This position combines technical solution design, platform governance, and hands-on implementation of modern endpoint management technologies.
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable workplace solutions that support business and end-user needs.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
Solution Architecture and Technology Evolution
• Design, recommend, and enhance endpoint and digital workplace management solutions.
• Define technical architecture, configuration standards, and technology evolution strategies for Microsoft Intune.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap for Modern Workplace environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Prepare and present technical recommendations, solution designs, and business cases.
Endpoint Platform Management
• Provide technical governance and support the ongoing evolution of Microsoft Intune.
• Design and implement device lifecycle management strategies across Windows, macOS, and iOS environments.
• Define and optimize device provisioning, configuration, deployment, compliance, and secure retirement processes.
• Develop and improve automated provisioning solutions using Windows Autopilot and PowerShell.
• Contribute to the modernization of Windows 11, SCCM/MECM, Microsoft 365, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Support improvements in application deployment, packaging, operating system updates, driver management, and firmware management.
Security and Technical Collaboration
• Design and implement endpoint compliance policies and security configurations.
• Apply Zero Trust principles and endpoint security best practices.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
• Contribute to the automation of monitoring, alerts, and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and operating procedures.
• Share technical knowledge and support engineering and operations teams in adopting new solutions.
Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role
Experience
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in workplace infrastructure, Modern Workplace, or Endpoint Management environments.
• Significant experience designing, deploying, and evolving Microsoft Intune solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience in technical solution design, defining standards, and integrating infrastructure technologies.
Technical Expertise
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune, including MDM/MAM, compliance management, configuration, security baselines, and device lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Windows Autopilot.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and provisioning.
• Knowledge of virtual desktop solutions, particularly Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Windows Hello for Business.
• Experience with application deployment, packaging, operating system updates, and endpoint configuration management.
• Knowledge of macOS and iOS device management.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Jamf for Apple device management.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with diverse device fleets.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and endpoint security best practices.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 80 000$ et 120 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
