Full Job Description
Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing

We are seeking an exceptional SVP, Corporate Marketing to build and lead the next generation of our corporate marketing function.

This leader will shape how the company is perceived by clients, prospective clients, employees, prospective employees, industry partners, investors, and the broader marketplace. The successful candidate will inherit a company whose operational scale, capabilities, and market position exceed the current awareness and perception of its brand. The mandate is to close that gap.

The SVP, Corporate Marketing will establish a unified national brand, materially strengthen the company's position with institutional-quality clients, create a sophisticated inbound demand-generation engine, professionalize communications and reputation management, and build a modern, technology-enabled corporate marketing organization that demonstrates measurable business and financial returns.

This leader must be equally capable of operating at two levels:
  • Strategic leader: a senior partner who helps shape enterprise strategy, growth priorities, culture, reputation, and market positioning.
  • Hands-on builder: an operator willing to personally engage in messaging, campaigns, analytics, technology, events, organizational design, and problem solving while building the team and infrastructure required for the company's next stage of growth.

The SVP, Corporate Marketing will lead the corporate marketing team, with responsibility spanning enterprise strategy, brand, communications, public relations, digital, content, events, marketing operations, analytics, creative, and reputation management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Market Positioning
  • Establish and protect a clear, differentiated national brand architecture
  • Define the company's positioning, value proposition, messaging hierarchy, brand standards, visual identity, tone of voice, and enterprise narrative

Demand Generation and Business Development Partnership
  • Serve as a close strategic partner to the business development and sales leadership teams
  • Build a corporate marketing engine that generates qualified inbound opportunities and improves the productivity of outbound business development
  • Develop content, campaigns, executive visibility, thought leadership, digital strategies, account-based marketing initiatives, and outreach programs that support defined client segments and growth priorities

Digital Search, AI, and Marketing Technology
  • Lead a comprehensive modernization of the company's corporate digital marketing capabilities
  • Oversee the redesign and continued evolution of the company's corporate website
  • Develop a modern search strategy encompassing technical SEO, content SEO, national search visibility, Generative Engine Optimization, AI answer-engine visibility, LLM discoverability, structured content architecture, and digital authority development

  • Oversee client conferences, executive events, client experiences, sponsorships, trade shows, and other strategic gatherings

Client Retention and Customer Marketing
  • Develop corporate marketing strategies that strengthen client engagement, loyalty, and retention
  • Partner with operations, business development, and executive leadership to create a structured client communications strategy

  • Experience serving as Head of Marketing, VP Marketing, SVP Marketing, or comparable senior corporate marketing leader
  • Experience operating within a large-scale organization and leading experienced professionals or functional leaders
  • Experience building, rebuilding, or materially transforming a corporate marketing function rather than solely inheriting a mature organization
  • Demonstrated success operating in a high-growth environment
  • Meaningful experience in B2B marketing, with the ability to address multiple constituencies and complex customer journeys
  • Experience marketing a service-based business with multiple audiences and a long, relationship-driven sales cycle

  • Experience partnering closely with senior sales or business-development leadership
  • Experience managing a meaningful corporate marketing budget and making disciplined investment decisions
  • Experience developing enterprise-level marketing strategies and personally helping execute them
  • Demonstrated success improving brand awareness and market positioning

  • Experience developing high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships
  • Modern digital sophistication, including practical experience with SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, LLM and AI-platform visibility, AI-enabled content and marketing workflows, CRM platforms, marketing automation, attribution, digital analytics, customer segmentation, website strategy, conversion optimization, content architecture, social-media analytics, data-driven decision making, and marketing performance dashboards
  • Experience within property management, residential real estate, multifamily, student housing, senior housing, affordable housing, hospitality, or another adjacent industry is strongly preferred but not required
    • Experience within a Top 10 property management organization or another large-scale, distributed service organization would be particularly attractive
    • Direct property management experience may accelerate the successful candidate's learning curve, but it will not substitute for exceptional corporate marketing capability
