Job Title: Senior Vice President, Business Development

Location: New York, NY or Reston, VA

About This Role:

The Senior Vice President, Business Development will lead Comscore’s platform partnership strategy, with a focus on expanding the distribution, adoption, usage visibility, and monetization of Comscore’s digital analytics, activation, targeting, and measurement products through third-party media and advertising platforms. This includes building and managing strategic partnerships with priority platforms, influencing partner roadmaps, structuring strong commercial models, and securing the rights and reporting needed to measure performance and support long-term growth. 

This senior individual contributor position will work closely with colleagues across Product, Commercial, Legal, Data Governance, Privacy, Finance, Technology, and Executive Leadership to align platform partnerships with Comscore’s product strategy, customer needs, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute Comscore’s platform partnership strategy across priority media, advertising, activation, analytics, measurement, and delivery platforms.

  • Build and managesenior-level relationships with strategic platform partners to expand the availability and adoption of Comscore products.

  • StrengthenComscore’s position for integration, prioritization, and launchthrough understanding ofpartner roadmap processes and mobilization ofinternal stakeholders 

  • Negotiate commercial structures, revenue-share models,usage-datarights, reporting requirements, renewals, amendments, and related partnership terms.

  • Ensure Comscore has visibilityintoproduct usage, customer adoption, partner performance, revenuegeneration, and monetization opportunities.

  • Evaluate platform partnerships and digital data opportunities based on strategic value, customer need, economics, scalability, rights, privacy requirements, and long-term business impact.

  • Acquire, renew, license, or rationalize digital data assets where they directly support Comscore’s digital and cross-channel product strategy.

  • Establish clear operating models forpartner launch, governance, support, renewal, escalation, accountability, and ongoing performance management.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, platform partnerships, data licensing, digital media, advertising technology, audience measurement, corporate development, or related fields.

  • Proven success negotiating complex commercial partnerships, platform distribution arrangements, revenue-share models, and data licensing agreements.

  • Strong understanding of digital media and advertising technology ecosystems, including programmatic, social, retail media, activation, measurement, analytics, and delivery platforms.

  • Experience influencing senior external partners and aligning internal cross-functional teams around strategic opportunities.

  • Strong financial and commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate partnership economics, implementation complexity, rights requirements, usagevisibility, and margin impact.

  • Experience with digital data ecosystems, including streaming, podcast, creator and social, audience, activation, or consumption data, preferred.

  • Salary: $225–$275K, commensurate with experience
