About the Role
The Senior Technology Trainer is an integral part of Latham's Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing a variety of professional, high-level technology training services to the lawyers and staff of the firm through in-person and remote training delivery, while providing assistance to end users for firm-approved applications in a variety of different methods (e.g., classroom, one-on-one, video, online eLearning systems, and remote virtual learning). This role will be located in our Washington DC office.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Working with attorneys and business services team members in the office and across other locations to identify training needs, creating classes designed to promote learning and the most effective use of technology
Conducting training needs analysis and supporting the development of innovative programs to meet those needs and promote the use of technology to improve individual and team performance
Building a comprehensive knowledge of the workflow, applications and practices of lawyers and other employees to support the delivery of consultative training
Evaluating and customizing training in order to meet the specific needs for new hire and onboarding training, technology rollout training, or ongoing education initiatives
Actively contributing ideas for service improvement including new courses, delivery, and learning methods using a continuous improvement framework
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
