As a Senior Technologist - Beverages, you'll partner with customers, flavorists, sales teams, and consumer insights experts to create exciting beverage solutions that bring our flavors, ingredients, and technologies to life. Your key responsibilities
• Manage flavor applications and associated technical support across diverse beverage projects.
• Design and execute complex initiatives, developing beverage application bases and innovative concepts showcasing our flavors, ingredients, and technologies.
• Participate in the technical selling team to strengthen customer relationships and mentor junior professionals.
• Manage project briefs, champion actions to achieve objectives, and lead customer work sessions and technical presentations.
• Apply expertise in beverage flavors, ingredients, formulations, and processes while building a strong network across the technical community.
• Maintain knowledge of customer strategies, brands, and products while staying informed on industry trends, ingredients, and emerging technologies.
You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline with 7+ years of beverage industry experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in beverage formulation, flavor application, and technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing beverage applications and supporting commercialization activities.
• Familiarity with pilot plant equipment and scale-up processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location. Salary $115,000 - $128,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
