This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week but will be in the field on a daily basis. No relocation is offered.

What you’ll do:
Negotiates contract terms and pricing and assists with performance and delivery problem resolution with suppliers.
Drafts, reviews, and approves contractual documents.
Leads cross-functional teams across various network and operations groups, finance, billing and product management to develop supplier/category specific strategies, manage costs, and assure timely and accurate vendor payments.
Regularly works with different internal stakeholders such as mobility, sales, billing, finance, legal etc. to facilitate definition of network requirements and procurement based on such requirements.
Responsible for data analytics to perform financial analysis of vendor proposals for Present Mode of Operation (PMO) vs Future Mode of Operation (FMO) view and total cost of ownership including analysis of build vs buy options.
Has Profit and Loss accountability through cost reduction targets. Manages cost optimization.
Addresses cross functional operations issues with suppliers to resolve pre-sales, provisioning, and maintenance problems.
May coordinate with sales to leverage buy/sell opportunities with interconnect suppliers.
Resolves legal and regulatory concerns working with internal SMEs as required.
May develop and implement analytic methods, procedures, and systems that assess and track supplier data regarding pricing, physical supplier site and building locations, and produce recommendations for choosing suppliers.
May assist or lead cross-functional teams to ensure performance standards and measurements meet required criteria. Develop and implement timely supplier performance reviews. Responsible for the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and assures the resolution of issues that result from supplier performance deficiencies.
Assist and lead investigation and resolution of billing disputes with suppliers.
Good communication and Microsoft office skills required. Strong business acumen with a good understanding of network products or network build operations, transport/access solutions in wireless and wireline preferred. Knowledge and experience with various regulatory frameworks including state and federal tariff agreements and interconnection agreements preferred.

Sourcing operations experience, including identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, working experience with negotiating contracts/agreements, requirements definition, Request for Proposal (RFP), pricing negotiations, investigation and resolution of disputes etc.
Understanding and working knowledge of network products and/or network build operations
Project management skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
