About you and the role:• Work with Head of Tax Strategy and M&A Team to support potential acquisitions, including advising on impact to deal model, evaluating acquisition structure, reviewing transaction documents and performing due diligence.
• Partner with Enstar's Investments Team to review potential investment opportunities and working with fund managers to develop appropriate investment structure.
• Partner with Treasury Team to evaluate and implement liquidity solutions, including assessing tax-efficient funding, cash management, and capital deployment strategies in support of acquisitions, investments, and other strategic initiatives.
• Support internal restructuring initiatives and advise on potential tax implications of transactions.
• Prepare comprehensive transaction memos and other documentation as needed for various Enstar external or internal transactions.
• Perform research on complex tax issues.
• Support US tax planning and structuring activities related to the AF Group acquisition, including analyzing transaction structures, assessing tax implications, and supporting the implementation of the post-acquisition tax strategy.
• Keep apprised of upcoming U.S. and foreign tax legislation that could impact Enstar.
• Support Global Head of Tax and Head of Tax Strategy on any ad-hoc company initiatives.

What you will bring:Person Specification- 7-10 years with Big 4 Tax experience
- JD/LLM qualified
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with M&A and financial products
- Insurance Taxation experience desirable but not essential
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Must be able to work well and collaborate with other stakeholders
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Significant experience in international tax issues, including ECI, withholding tax, tax treaty analysis, Pillar II and permanent establishment rules.

General Info The target base salary pay range for this role is $170,000-$221,000*
