Full Job Description
Description

Verily is recruiting a visionary, commercially-minded Senior Staff Product Manager to serve as the product leader for Lightpath-Verily's flagship precision health solution. Reporting to the VP of Product - Care Solutions, you will own the definition, strategy, and growth of Lightpath as a solution end-to-end, and you will drive its success on both the commercial and clinical fronts.

This is a rare role that blends product vision and execution with go-to-market leadership. You will define what Lightpath is and where it's headed, present regularly to executive leadership, and act as the external face of the program with customers, partners, and prospects. You will partner closely with Sales throughout the deal cycle and carry shared responsibility for the program's outcomes-from bookings and pipeline to member engagement and clinical results. You'll collaborate with engineering, data science, clinical leadership, and UX to deliver AI-first solutions built on rich healthcare data.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the comprehensive end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for Lightpath, serving as the ultimate authority on how AI-driven insights and multimodal data are leveraged to scale precision health care solutions.
  • Champion commercial growth and market adoption by partnering directly with the enterprise Sales team to close high-value deals, define the B2B solution narrative, and share accountability for bookings and pipeline goals.
  • Lead high-stakes executive alignment and external market engagement, acting as the primary product-facing representative for clinical partners, health systems, payers, and Alphabet's senior leadership.
  • Orchestrate complex, cross-functional execution across engineering, data science, clinical, quality, and UX teams to build highly scalable, reusable solutions rather than bespoke integrations.
  • Own the holistic product lifecycle and commercial outcomes for Lightpath and upcoming B2B solutions, ensuring platform capabilities translate directly to industry-leading member engagement and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Product Leadership: 8+ years of progressive product management experience, including a documented history of directing enterprise platform solutions end-to-end and driving initiatives from 0 to 1.
  • Commercial Strategy: Proven track record of managing both commercial business metrics (e.g., bookings, pipeline, expansion) and product/health outcomes in an enterprise B2B setting.
  • Cross-Functional Governance: Experience driving product alignment across complex, highly regulated technical teams including Engineering, Data Science, and Clinical, Quality, or Regulatory stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare Domain Expertise: Direct experience building and scaling B2B enterprise healthcare or clinical care solutions sold directly to health systems, payers, large employers, or life sciences partners.
  • Advanced AI Tooling:Hands-on experience directing the development and deployment of AI-driven products (such as LLMs, machine learning, or agentic workflows) within highly regulated enterprise settings.
  • Executive Presence:Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical and clinical architectures into clear strategic visions for C-suite executives and board members.
  • External Relationship Management:Exceptional relationship-building skills to act as the authoritative product voice in the market, establishing trust and credibility with external clinical partners and prospective enterprise buyers.
  • Influence & Resource Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, align disparate organizational priorities, and secure resources from senior cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable platforms.
