Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field preferred (computer science, engineering)
• 2-5 years of Windows and Linux system administration experience
• 2-5 years of commercial software development experience
• 2-5 years of experience with Splunk, SIEMs, and analytic security tools
• Deep knowledge of information security, compliance frameworks, and networking
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure including OS and enterprise applications
• 2-4 years of programming experience in Python, shell scripting, and object-oriented development
• US Citizen required
• SECRET/TOP SECRET/SCI clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative Premium and Free Splunk Apps as part of a Product Development Team
• Use Splunk primarily for security platform tasks
• Propose innovative use cases focused on security and compliance
• Design and implement dashboards and reports; create rapid prototypes
• Monitor cybersecurity trends and emerging ideas
• Identify and propose new security solutions
• Support high-profile clients in government and Fortune 1000 sectors, both on site and remotely
