Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Manufacturing Digital Opertations, you will design, develop, and support production-grade applications that enable critical manufacturing operations. You will work across user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and data platforms to deliver scalable solutions that improve plant performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Work Arrangement – Onsite

The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis.

This position may be filled with a Senior Engineer or Non-Senior Engineer. The level for this role will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience

What You'll Do

L7 Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications that support manufacturing operations and business-critical workflows.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions from concept through production.
  • Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture across applications, integrations, and platforms.
  • Build and maintain user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while supporting deployments and releases.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, solution design, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor engineers and help elevate technical capability across the team.
  • Drive improvements in performance, reliability, maintainability, security, and user experience.
  • Partner with manufacturing, software, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Support critical production incidents, including after-hours support when needed.

  • Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications in enterprise production environments.
  • Experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar software development lifecycle tools.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance engineering productivity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple layers of an application.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
  • Comfortable operating in evolving environments with changing priorities and incomplete requirements.

L6 Required

  • 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications.
  • Experience developing applications using Python, React, or similar modern programming frameworks.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, integrations, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar software development lifecycle tools.
  • Experience testing, deploying, or supporting software applications in development, test, or production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple layers of an application.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a team-based environment.
