What You'll Do
  • Develop and evaluate hollow fiber materials, modules, and application concepts
  • Contribute to device innovation, system integration, and performance optimization
  • Identify and assess high-value applications aligned with hollow fiber capabilities
  • Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to match technologies with real-world needs
  • Plan and execute experiments; interpret results and evaluate performance
  • Conduct failure analysis and technical risk assessments to improve reliability
  • Support lab-scale testing, prototype development, and flow-system experimentation
  • Work across material processing, device testing, and application-driven development
  • Contribute to technical reports, presentations, white papers, and publications

What You Bring
  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a related field
  • Background in one or more of the following:
    • Hollow fiber membranes or membrane modules
    • Filtration, separations, or membrane contactors
    • Bioprocessing or gas/liquid exchange systems
    • Electrochemical or advanced fluid-based systems
  • Proven track record in:
    • Experimental design and execution
    • Data analysis and performance evaluation
    • Failure analysis and risk assessment
  • Publications or demonstrated technical contributions preferred
  • Ability to connect material capabilities with practical applications and market needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-level perspective
