Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Manager, Operations

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for the role is: Remote {#LI-Remote} (Must be in Greater Pittsburgh, PA)

This role is contributing to the Turbine Automation Business in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
  • Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
  • Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
  • Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role
  • You are skilled in working with Turbine Control Automation within the Power Industry
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience with DCS or PLC design and programming, with 8-12 years of experience in Turbine Automation.
  • You are innovative around problem solving and methods of process control.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • You are at ease communicating in English

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $91,700 and $146,720 annually.
