The role work closely with project managers, clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with project goals, budgets, schedules, and applicable standards. This position reflects mastery of the Project Engineer role and applies advanced engineering judgment, independent decision-making, and leadership across assigned service areas.
Lead site design for residential development, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
Lead and perform advanced engineering analysis, design, and technical documentation in accordance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Serve as a technical resource and subject-matter leader on complex projects, guiding design development from conceptual planning through final deliverables.
Evaluate site constraints and design alternatives to meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate permitting and regulatory approvals with local, state, and federal agencies.
Provide technical leadership throughout project execution, from due diligence through construction support.
Review engineering calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and quality.
Coordinate closely with project managers to support project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality control processes.
Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians; review work for quality and consistency.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and subconsultants to develop effective and innovative engineering solutions.
Apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate alternatives, resolve technical challenges, and recommend optimal solutions.
Support continuous improvement by introducing new tools, methods, and best practices that enhance project outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Demonstrated ability to lead complex design tasks and guide project teams.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and applicable design standards.
Proficiency with relevant engineering software and design tools appropriate to assigned service area.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to mentor staff and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed
