Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, with a preference for 10+ years in Government & Defense industries.
• Senior management experience in logistics and sales within Government & Defense sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) and supply chain management.
• Strong proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
• Established national network in the industry, with international connections being advantageous.
• Expertise in project and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer onboarding and implementation processes efficiently.
• Support business development efforts by identifying contract opportunities and suitable solutions.
• Oversee global pricing sourcing, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Produce responses for RFI, RFP, and RFQ requests as needed.
• Manage certifications specific to Government requirements and facilitate legal reviews of contracts.
• Prepare customer Management Business Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and Annual Business Reviews (ABR) as necessary.
• Identify localized needs and adapt global standards accordingly to ensure project success.
