Position Overview:

The Senior Product Manager, Network & Information Services (N&IS), drives the vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of Intrado’s Wireline and VoIP emergency communications portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering highly reliable, standards-compliant solutions that support 911 call routing, location management, emergency call delivery, and interoperability across carrier, enterprise, and public safety networks.

 

Working within Intrado’s product operating model, you will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Network Operations, Product Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and telecommunications service providers to define and deliver solutions that meet evolving customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. Success is measured through product adoption, service reliability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

 

The ideal candidate brings experience in telecommunications, emergency communications, or network-based services and has a strong understanding of Wireline, VoIP, NG911, location information services, and the public safety ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intrado's Wireline and VoIP emergency communications solutions
  • Manage the product lifecycle for services supporting 911 call delivery, location information management, routing, and NG911 interoperability
  • Identify market opportunities and develop business cases that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer value
  • Align product investments with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and Intrado’s strategic objectives

Market & Customer Engagement

  • Engage with carriers, VoIP service providers, enterprises, public safety agencies, and industry stakeholders to understand customer requirements and market trends
  • Monitor telecommunications, NG911, and emergency communications industry developments, including FCC mandates and NENA standards
  • Gather and prioritize customer feedback to guide product enhancements and future investments
  • Conduct competitive analysis and assess market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making

Product Development & Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, planning, development, launch, and lifecycle management activities
  • Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
  • Prioritize enhancements and investments based on customer impact, operational benefits, compliance requirements, and business objectives
  • Partner with Engineering and Network Operations to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available product delivery

Network Interoperability & Compliance

  • Ensure products support seamless interoperability across wireline carriers, VoIP providers, NG911 networks, PSAPs, and enterprise environments
  • Drive compliance with applicable FCC requirements, NENA standards, NG911 initiatives, and industry regulations
  • Partner with technical and regulatory stakeholders to evaluate emerging standards and their impact on the product portfolio
  • Support initiatives that improve routing accuracy, location delivery, service resiliency, and emergency communications outcomes

Metrics & Business Performance

  • Establish KPIs that measure adoption, revenue, customer satisfaction, service reliability, operational performance, and compliance
  • Analyze business and operational data to drive product decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate roadmap priorities, product performance, and strategic recommendations to executives and business stakeholders
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and external service providers
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert for the Wireline and VoIP portfolio

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management experience within telecommunications, SaaS, public safety communications, or network services environments
  • Experience managing carrier, wireline, VoIP, location services, or mission-critical communications products
  • Strong understanding of Wireline 911, VoIP emergency services, ALI databases, location management, call routing, and NG911 architecture preferred
  • Familiarity with telecommunications protocols and technologies, including SIP, IP networking, emergency call routing, and carrier interconnects preferred
  • Knowledge of FCC regulations, NENA standards, and public safety communications ecosystems strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives with measurable customer, operational, and business outcomes
  • Experience building business cases, product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience mentoring or guiding product team members preferred

The starting salary is anticipated between $120,000 and $140,000 to start and will be commensurate with experience.
