This move requires a product leader who can modernize the existing analytics business while shaping the next generation of metric-driven, insight-rich experiences for educators and district leaders.
Responsibilities
As Senior Product Manager for Metrics & Analytics Experience, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for the analytics experience layer of Analytics & Insights. Your mission is to move the product from dashboard-first navigation toward a metrics-centered experience where districts can define, customize, monitor, benchmark, and understand the measures that matter most to them.
This role sits at the intersection of customer analytics needs, product experience, trusted data models, and AI-enabled insight delivery. You will maintain and evolve the current analytics business, including dashboards, out-of-the-box reporting, and core reporting workflows, while building toward a more flexible, metrics-centered future that supports metric catalogs, customer-defined metrics, benchmarking, drill-down, cross-domain measures, and embedded insights and recommendations.
You will partner across dataplatform, semanticlayer, and AI-driven intelligence teams to ensure metrics are clearly defined, consistently modeled, trusted by customers, and delivered through intuitive product experiences. This includes shaping requirements for metric definitions, semantic-layer dependencies, data quality, implementation speed, explainable insights, and recommendation experiences that help districts move from understanding performance to taking informed action.
WhatYouDo
- Define and lead the product vision for ametrics-centered Analytics & Insights experience that helps districts understand performance,identifywhat matters, and take informed action.
- Evolve the product from dashboard-first navigation toward metric pages, catalogs, customer-defined metrics, benchmarking, drill-down, and guided exploration.
- Modernize existing dashboards, out-of-the-box analytics, reporting experiences, and core analytics workflows whilemaintainingvalue for current customers.
- Use customer feedback, product usage, support trends, win/loss insights, and competitive signals to prioritize the highest-impact analytics improvements.
- Shape requirements for metric definitions, calculation logic, semantic-layer dependencies, data quality, local configuration, and cross-domain metric experiences.
- Embed explanations, automated insights, recommendations, and AI-enabled experiences where they help users move from analysis to action.
- Partner across engineering, design, data science, customer success, services, support, sales, and marketing to deliver scalable, intuitive analytics capabilities.
- Lead discovery, requirements, prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch measurement, with clear narratives that connect customer problems to business outcomes.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience in SaaS, analytics, business intelligence, data products, enterprise software, or education technology.
- Strong understanding of analytics user experiences, dashboards, metric design, reporting workflows, data visualization, drill-down, benchmarking, and self-service analytics patterns.
- Experience defining metric requirements, calculation logic, reporting requirements, or semantic-layer dependencies in partnership with engineering or data teams.
- Ability to translate complex data and customer workflows into simple, intuitive, high-value product experiences.
- Strong product discovery skills, including customer research, problem framing, opportunity sizing, prioritization, and validation.
- Comfort partnering with engineering on technically complex topics such as data quality, data models, calculation logic, permissions, performance, and scalability.
- Experience with AI-enabled or insight-driven experiences is a plus, especially where AI is used to explain metrics, answer natural language questions, or recommend next-best actions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around a clear product direction.
- Strong business judgment and ability to balance customer needs, implementation cost, market differentiation, adoption, and revenue/retention impact.
- Experience in Agile environments with strong execution discipline, crisp requirements, and structured post-launch measurement.
Travel / Other Requirements
- Travel occasionally, up to 5%, for key moments such as team summits, customer meetings, training, company events, and strategic planning sessions.
- This position is subject to company on-call policies, which mayconstituteworking outside normal business hours as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $133,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
