About the RoleOur client is hiring a
Senior Product Engineer to own the development of AI-native products built on top of its platform.
This is a highly autonomous, full-stack engineering role for someone with exceptional product judgment and a demonstrated track record of building successful products from zero to one.
You'll own backend services, enterprise integrations, customer-facing applications, and the AI agent workflows that power them.
The team operates with minimal product-planning overhead. Engineers are expected to identify opportunities, understand customer problems, make product decisions, and ship solutions without waiting for detailed specifications.
The ideal candidate is a founder, former founder, or entrepreneurial engineer who has already built and launched products that achieved meaningful adoption or commercial success.
What You'll Do- Own AI-native products end to end, from concept and architecture through launch and production.
- Build backend services, enterprise integrations, and customer-facing applications.
- Develop intuitive product experiences using modern frontend technologies such as React.
- Identify customer problems and independently develop solutions.
- Design and improve AI agent workflows built on frontier models.
- Build evaluation frameworks and feedback loops that improve agent reliability.
- Instrument agent failures and turn real customer scenarios into reproducible tests.
- Work across application development, cloud infrastructure, and AI integrations.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
- Partner with the founding team to shape product direction and identify new opportunities.
- Take increasing ownership of the product roadmap by proposing and driving new product ideas.
What We're Looking For- Strong full-stack software engineering experience with production systems.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Go, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated experience building and launching products from zero to one.
- Track record of products achieving meaningful customer adoption, revenue, or commercial success.
- Exceptional product sense and ability to make thoughtful UX and UI decisions.
- Ability to own backend architecture, frontend development, integrations, and deployment.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and familiarity with infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of agentic AI systems, frontier models, and modern AI development workflows.
- Experience using AI-native engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Cline.
- Ability to take ambiguous problems and independently turn them into shipped products.
- Strong first-principles problem-solving skills.
- High ownership, resourcefulness, and comfort working without extensive planning processes.
Bonus Experience- Founder or former founder who has built and launched successful products.
- Experience building, scaling, or selling a software business.
- Experience developing customer-facing AI or agentic applications.
- Experience with AI agent evaluations, feedback loops, or model reliability.
- Experience integrating products into enterprise software environments.
- Background in early-stage startups with direct product ownership.
- Experience independently identifying and validating new product opportunities.
