The roleTake products from 0 to 1 to scale. This is a senior, high-agency role for a full-stack engineer with strong product taste and founder instincts. You'll work directly with internal users, decide what to build, ship quickly and own quality in production. The work turns complex operations and petabyte-scale data into simple, reliable workflows.
What you'll do- Turn ambiguous problems into shipped product: concept, prototype, production
- Own scope, trade-offs and delivery, not just implementation
- Build end-to-end workflows across frontend and backend, with durable product primitives that are fast to iterate on
- Sweat UX details: interaction quality, edge cases and reliability, partnering closely with design
- Define success metrics and instrumentation, and use data to drive prioritization and quality
What you bring- 7+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent impact) with meaningful full-stack ownership (front end and back end)
- A proven track record shipping products 0 to 1 and scaling them in production
- Strong product judgment on UX, workflows and trade-offs
- High agency: you move without waiting for perfect specs
Nice to have- Early-stage startup or founder experience with end-to-end product ownership
- Scientific or research software, instrument integrations or experimental data systems
- Practical AI features that let users inspect, validate and correct outputs
