Job Description:As a Senior Energy Market Optimization Engineer, you will combine advanced mathematical modeling, software development, and power system expertise to create innovative solutions for electricity markets and grid operations. Your work will help utilities and market operators optimize decision-making, improve market efficiency, integrate renewable energy resources, and maintain reliable power delivery in real time.

How You'll Make an Impact- Analyze customer requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and enhance optimization applications for power systems and electricity markets.
- Build and integrate software components using industry best practices.
- Research and implement advanced mathematical models and numerical optimization methods.
- Support software releases and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on global customer projects.
- Participate in customer discussions and provide technical expertise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and documentation.
Your Background- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electricity markets or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with optimization modeling tools and solvers such as AMPL, AIMMS, CPLEX, or Gurobi.
- Minimum 3 years of experience programming with high-level languages.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in Linux or AIX environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing power system applications for electricity markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and authorization to work in the United States.
