Full Job Description
Senior Manufacturing Engineer

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Oversight of the development and implementation of new and improvement of existing processes and equipment for the manufacturing process.
  • Design and/or improve fixturing for manufacturing.
  • Coordinate engineering support for the process technicians, Tool & Die makers and Maintenance on special projects as needed.
  • Develop and submit research packages for process and equipment improvements, submitting for Capital Plan.
  • Work with other engineering team members to ensure capital projects are transferred to manufacturing in a timely fashion. This will include the writing of SOP's, training documentation, specifications and coordinating training for both the technician group but manufacturing associates as well.
  • Implement training program for all manufacturing associates.
  • Assist in New Design & existing product development, ensuring all time lines are met.
  • Develop and implement effective processes for current and new product designs, ensuring to issue required new specifications & SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) to manufacturing.
  • Supervision of manufacturing engineers.
  • Associate will be required to travel from time to time.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.
  • Eight to ten years' experience required.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required. Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.


**This is a salaried exempt, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA**
