Full Job Description
What You'll Do

Will serve as the primary owner of day-to-day transfer pricing across BridgeBio and its affiliates. The role will also lead the tax consolidation, effective tax rate, and cash-tax forecasting processes that depend on-and provide visibility into-transfer pricing outcomes.

This is a hands-on role for a transfer pricing professional who is equally comfortable applying intercompany economics and working directly with data. The role will extract and reconcile information from ERP, consolidation, forecasting, and reporting systems; build controlled and repeatable calculations; and convert results into practical guidance for Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Business Development, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end operational transfer pricing calendar and implement BridgeBio's global transfer pricing policies across the company's decentralized research, clinical, commercial, and international activities.
• Build and maintain legal-entity and transaction-level transfer pricing models, including segmented profit-and-loss statements, cost pools, allocation keys, markups, tested-party results, target margins, arm's-length ranges, and variance analyses.
• Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including functional and risk analyses, benchmarking studies, Master File and Local Files, Country-by-Country Reporting inputs, intercompany agreements, and contemporaneous support for material positions.
• Monitor U.S. and international transfer pricing developments and lead responses to tax authority inquiries, audits, and information requests with external advisors and Legal; maintain defensible workpapers and audit-ready data trails.
• Own recurring transfer pricing forecasts, calculations, allocations, invoices, settlements, and true-ups; reconcile results to intercompany accounts and the general ledger and coordinate timely entries with Controllership and affiliate finance teams.
• Monitor entity profitability and intercompany results throughout the year; investigate root causes, recommend operational corrections, and execute quarter-end and year-end adjustments in coordination with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and affiliate finance teams.
• Build transfer pricing forecasts by legal entity, jurisdiction, and transaction type and integrate forecasted intercompany charges, margins, settlements, and withholding taxes into consolidated ETR and cash-tax projections.
• Provide ad hoc analytics support to the broader tax team-such as book/tax difference analysis, provision reconciliations, and general ledger queries-using the same data pipelines and tools built for transfer pricing forecasting.
Where You'll Work

San Francisco or Palo Alto, California.
Who You Are

You are a technically strong transfer pricing professional and a natural model builder. You understand intercompany economics, policy implementation, documentation, and tax forecasting, but you also want to know where the numbers came from, how the systems are structured, which assumptions drive the answer, and how the process can be made repeatable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Eight or more years of progressive transfer pricing, international tax, tax reporting, or tax analytics experience, preferably including a combination of public accounting or consulting and in-house experience.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing or managing consolidated ETR forecasts, cash-tax forecasts, tax scenario models, or comparable multi-entity tax analyses.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. corporate and international tax concepts, ASC 740 rate drivers, tax attributes, and the relationship among forecasts, provisions, tax returns, and cash payments.
  • Intellectually curious and highly analytical, with the persistence to trace data from source to conclusion and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Able to manage recurring cycles and unplanned requests simultaneously while remaining calm and effective under pressure.
  • Ability to identify high-value automation opportunities and translate tax requirements into data specifications, workflows, validation rules, and review controls.
