Jam City is looking for a
Senior Manager, Talent Management, located in our Los Angeles office. They will report to the Senior Director, People & Culture, lead the People Partner team, and own the talent programs that drive performance and growth across Jam City. As a strategic partner to senior leaders, you will play a hands-on role in employee relations, performance management, career development, and organizational change, ensuring our people programs are effective, consistent, and aligned to business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIESPeople Partnership- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, influencing key strategic and operational decisions
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
- Guide leaders through organizational change, aligning communication and infrastructure to support the business
- Coach leaders at all levels to strengthen decision-making, leadership capability, and team effectiveness
Talent Management- Co-design the performance management program with Total Rewards & People Operations, and lead leader-facing execution, including goal setting, calibration, talent reviews, and succession planning
- Build career frameworks and internal mobility programs in partnership with Total Rewards on job architecture
- Lead manager development and leadership training, from new-manager onboarding to ongoing coaching and workshops
- Partner with Total Rewards & People Operations and Talent Acquisition so talent programs connect smoothly to compensation, promotions, and hiring
- Turn talent insights into action to drive performance and growth across Jam City, partnering with People Operations on the data and reporting behind them
Leadership- Lead, coach, and develop the People Partner team, setting clear priorities and building a high-performing, collaborative team of trusted advisors
- Champion the use of AI in talent programs and People Partner work, finding where AI can strengthen manager support, improve program delivery, and free the team for higher-value work
- Collaborate with global People teams to deliver consistent programs across regions
REQUIREMENTS- 8+ years of HRBP or talent management experience, including ownership of company-wide talent programs
- 2+ years managing HR or People Partner team members
- Proven ability to build credibility and partner with executive-level leaders
- Experience designing and launching performance management, career development, or leadership programs
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment and labor laws; California employment law experience a plus
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve HR workflows
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn workforce data into clear recommendations
- Experience in change management and leading organizational initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be local to the greater Los Angeles area and able to work from the office 5 days a week

The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000 salary per year.
