Microchip FPGA BU is looking for a talented, passionate, creative, and hands-on individual to join our new product development team as a Senior Product Engineering Manager.

The candidate will lead the product engineering team to support rollout of new products to the market. This cross functional role will provide opportunities to interact with the many players of product development and rollout including Test Engineering, Package Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Planning, Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Silicon Engineering, Quality, Marketing and Operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • BSEE, MSEE or equivalent
  • 15+ years of industry related experience in Electrical engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years leading or managing a team.
  • In depth knowledge of solid-state physics, silicon reliability and process failure mechanisms.
  • 5+ years of knowledge of SOC product qualifications - JEDEC
  • Hands-on experience with data management tools and languages like KLA and JMP Understanding of SoC and FPGA architectures and FPGA Software design suites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative leader with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on quality execution and strategic goal alignment
  • Proactive in forward planning and long-term strategic thinking

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in scripting language such as PERL/Python
  • Knowledge of AECQ-100/MIL-STD-883 qualification standards

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
