Reporting to the
Director, People Services & HR Technology, this role partners with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, Finance, and external providers to deliver scalable, user-focused technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness, employee experience, and readiness for growth.

HRIS expertise, sound judgment, and a practical approach to delivery. You translate business needs into scalable solutions, set clear priorities, and balance value, risk, capacity, and platform capabilities.
You lead through influence, bring structure to ambiguity, and communicate clear recommendations across technical and non-technical teams. You establish the governance, documentation, and delivery practices needed to support a reliable and sustainable HR technology environment.
In This Role, You WillStakeholder Partnership & Solution Design- Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, Finance, and external providers to translate business needs into scalable HR technology solutions.
- Lead intake, discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design, assessing impacts across process, configuration, integrations, reporting, data, security, compliance, and user experience.
- Recommend practical solutions that balance business value, platform capability, risk, capacity, and long-term scalability.
Portfolio, Roadmap & Prioritization - Own the HR technology roadmap and backlog, prioritizing initiatives based on value, impact, risk, dependencies, effort, readiness, and capacity.
- Maintain visibility into portfolio priorities, delivery progress, resource constraints, dependencies, trade-offs, and material risks.
- Present recommendations and delivery implications to the Director and relevant governance forums.
Delivery, Release Management & Adoption - Lead delivery across internal resources, contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders, managing scope, timelines, risks, quality, and outcomes.
- Oversee Workday releases, enhancements, integrations, configuration changes, testing, deployment, communications, training, and support readiness.
- Drive stakeholder adoption, monitor post-release results, and address gaps between expected and actual outcomes.
Governance & Continuous Improvement - Establish governance standards that support platform reliability, compliance, audit readiness, continuity, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain key records, including process documentation, configuration and security design, integration inventories, testing artifacts, decision records, and operating procedures.
- Monitor solution effectiveness, adoption, support trends, stakeholder experience, and operational efficiency to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
Resource, Partner & Team Leadership - Plan delivery capacity and recommend the allocation and sequencing of internal and external resources against approved priorities.
- Set expectations for contractors, consultants, vendors, and technology partners, monitoring quality, timelines, risks, documentation, knowledge transfer, and commitments.
- Provide functional leadership to delivery resources, building capability through clear priorities, accountability, coaching, documentation discipline, and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring - Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, Workday, business systems analysis, or enterprise technology delivery is required.
- Direct experience delivering solutions within Workday or a comparable enterprise HRIS platform, including HCM and additional modules such as Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Reporting, or Security is required.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, solution design, process mapping, testing, implementation, release readiness, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing technology roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, delivery capacity, dependencies, risks, governance, documentation, and performance measures.
- Experience leading contractors, consultants, vendors, project resources, or blended delivery teams is required.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Experience supporting multi-country operations, particularly Canada and the United States, is considered an asset; Workday, project-management, business-analysis, Agile, or change-management certification is also considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 CAD to $140,000 CAD annually (plus a bonus of up to 15% and competitive total rewards and benefits package). Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. This job posting is for a newly created role.
You will be based at our
Toronto Support Centre, located at
181 Bay Street in the heart of Toronto's financial district. This position will be on site from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-home days.
