OverviewJob Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) is looking for a Senior Manager, Exchange Data, Content Strategy & Acquisition.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to support the exchange contentstrategyacquisition process at ICE by managing relationships and contract negotiations with global stock and derivativesexchanges,witha focuson (but not limited to)stock andderivatives exchangesinthe Americas andEMEA.
Responsibilities
- Partnerwith businessstakeholdersonexchangecontent requirements and strategy.
- Lead contractual negotiations with exchanges, securinggroup rights fordatadistribution,connectivityand internal usage rights forproducts and servicesworld-wide.
- Review,analyzeand negotiateexchangeagreementsand policies.
- Establish andmaintainstrongcommercial relationships withexchangecontentproviders.
- Negotiateand managechanges inexchangepolicies andfeesandcommunicate updates tointernal business lines.
- Manage exchange contentrightsandobligations, andmake recommendations to the business on potential risks and suggested actions.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on exchange data used throughout the business,to promotecontent strategy and rights management for ICE.
- Havebroadunderstanding of regulatory changes and their potential impact on exchange licenses and commercials.
- Coordinate with Finance on content acquisition, feechangesand budget forecasting.
- Support the management ofthird-partycontent data audits.
- Manage and contribute toexchangecontent projects.
- Participate in industry conferences and workshops.
Knowledge and Experience
- Advancedunderstanding of market dataand offinancial markets.
- Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements/strong negotiation skills.
- 7+ years with a market data vendor or market data department in a financial institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellentcommunication and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of entitlement and billing systems.
- Excellentorganizational skills, withabilityto workwith autonomy and to manage and adapt to change.
- Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors at all levels.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel,Wordand PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail in high volume and high activity situations.
- Strongfamiliarityofcomplexreal timebusiness use cases, end-of-day business use cases, and derived data use cases.
New York Base SalaryRange
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $150,000 - 185,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange9s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
