Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager in Houston, Texas.
Work You'll Do Lead information technology projects, including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Direct the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence in connection to information technology projects.

Requirements Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Managing the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; meeting specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs, utilizing SAP Activate Methodology;
- Leading business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals, eminence, and point of view development;
- Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices;
- Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and organizing and leading pursuit teams;
- Leading components of engagements, evaluating client's business and modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori;
- Leading global project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing Project Management tools, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies;
- Executing client deliverables, including Business Blueprint, Functional Design Document (FDD), and System Configuration Description (SCD) per business specifications and agreed timelines, utilizing SAP Solution Manager (SolMan); and
- Leading and managing large SAP Logistics Execution (LE) implementation in the Oil and Gas industry, using SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM).
