Job Description
This is a key Senior Manager role within Accenture’s Cyber Resilience and Defense practice. The role will lead growth across the Cyber Exposure, Testing & Intelligence portfolio in the Canadian market, with primary emphasis on converting CTEM and vulnerability management demand into qualified pipeline, strategic pursuits, and repeatable offerings spanning exposure management, security testing, adversary simulation, and proactive cyber intelligence.
The Senior Manager will also oversee client delivery, strengthen alliance relationships, develop market-facing assets and thought leadership, and build high-performing teams. The role will work across industries and collaborate with Accenture’s broader cyber, technology, industry, and managed services practices to bring integrated solutions to clients.
Core Responsibilities
Growth, Market & Offering Leadership
• Drive business development across the Canadian market—from origination and qualification through solution shaping, strategic pursuits, proposals, and capture—converting demand for CTEM, vulnerability management, offensive security, threat intelligence, and AI-enabled security into qualified pipeline.
• Build trusted relationships with CISOs, security executives, technology leaders, and other senior client stakeholders across industries.
• Develop and scale repeatable offerings, methods, assets, accelerators, and commercial models, while leading alliance and joint go-to-market activity with key technology providers.
• Collaborate across Accenture service areas, industries, and geographies to connect Cyber Exposure, Testing & Intelligence services with broader cyber transformation, SOC, managed security, cloud, and technology programs.
Client Delivery & Advisory
• Oversee complex client engagements across exposure management, vulnerability management, security testing, adversary simulation, and cyber intelligence, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point while supporting timely issue resolution.
• Translate client business, risk, and technical requirements into pragmatic roadmaps, operating models, scalable solutions, and actionable recommendations aligned to client priorities.
• Apply experience in SOC operations to connect proactive exposure reduction with detection, response, and operational security processes.
People & Practice Leadership
• Recruit, lead, coach, and retain multidisciplinary teams across consulting, security testing, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and related technical disciplines.
• Develop practitioners through mentoring, performance leadership, career guidance, and hands-on support during pursuits and delivery.
• Advance workforce planning and capability development while promoting inclusion, innovation, knowledge sharing, certification pathways, and a sustainable Canadian talent pipeline.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including leadership responsibility in consulting, professional services, managed security services, or a comparable client-facing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in CTEM, vulnerability management, offensive security, security testing, adversary simulation, threat intelligence, AI-enabled security capabilities, or closely related cyber disciplines.
• Experience overseeing complex cybersecurity engagements, including accountability for quality, client outcomes, risk, and timely issue resolution.
• Proven experience leading business development, sales capture, solution shaping, and proposal development for complex cybersecurity opportunities.
• Experience building, leading, and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong senior stakeholder communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Canadian Government security clearance.
• Ability to travel periodically within Canada based on client and business needs.
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing and scaling cybersecurity offerings, market-facing assets, accelerators, or repeatable delivery methods.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, or agentic capabilities to cyber operations, along with familiarity in SOC operations, SIEM, XDR, and detection and response.
• Established relationships in the Canadian cybersecurity market and experience working across industries with geographically distributed teams.
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience; industry-recognized or vendor certifications are an asset. Professional proficiency in French is preferred.
