What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. As Senior Manager, Commercial Insights AI & Innovation Solutions within Business Analytics & Insights (BAI), you will help shape the future of Commercial Insights at Amgen by bringing artificial intelligence (AI) into how teams investigate business questions, generate insights and make decisions. You will combine market research and analytics expertise with product management and technical fluency to develop capabilities that business teams can put to work.
Your primary focus will be the Market Research Agent (MR Agent), an AI-enabled insights platform and research co-pilot that puts analytical exploration directly into the hands of business teams, enabling them to generate insights that inform brand strategy and commercial action. You will lead its roadmap and evolution, working with market research leaders and technical partners to expand its capabilities, maintain research rigor and embed new ways of generating and applying insights across the business.
You will translate user needs into product requirements, prioritize enhancements and manage delivery across technical and vendor partners. This includes coordinating development, testing and releases; maintaining content and output quality; and leading onboarding, training and change management. You will use stakeholder feedback, adoption measures and business value to guide continuous improvement and future capabilities.
Working closely with Amgen India (AIN), you will also help advance AI-enabled quarterly business reviews (QBRs) into a forward-looking enterprise decision system. You will coordinate enterprise inputs from Brand teams, Finance, Value & Access, Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation (GCCI), Patient Services, Medical, Marketing, Sales and BAI, and manage agreed workflow requirements, delivery dependencies and output-quality improvements with AIN and technical partners.
As business needs and technology evolve, you will identify and pilot new AI applications across Commercial Insights and help scale those that demonstrate business value. You will work independently on priorities agreed with BAI leadership, coordinating delivery with AIN, Amgen Portugal (ACCP), external vendors and platform teams.
This role offers the opportunity to shape both the capabilities we build and how people work: establishing practical foundations for the next generation of AI-enabled Commercial Insights.
