Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships will assist with driving the growth of NBCUniversal's ad sales revenue through the expansion and negotiation of crucial partnerships and business opportunities, including across content distribution, demand/revenue generation, and advanced advertising.
You'll manage the negotiation of vendor agreements supporting NBCUniversal's Ad Sales division and its products/operations. You will also liaise cross-functionally within NBCU to help advise on issues related to the development and expansion of NBCUniversal's ad sales partnerships.
Responsibilities- Analyze partner/industry audience, content, and financial data to help develop strategic business and financial models underlying partnership monetization efforts
- Assist with negotiating and executing on key business terms with partners/vendors related to the monetization of NBCUniversal content on digital platforms (e.g., FAST, OTT, vMVPDs), as well as vendors (e.g., programmatic, measurement) required to support such monetization
- Manage partnership pipeline, deal calendar, and key milestone tracking to support timely execution of business development initiatives
- Work closely with NBCU partnerships/strategy teams to operationalize, manage, and troubleshoot partnerships
- Collaborate across the organization, including sales, planning, operations, strategy, legal and finance, as well as with other company divisions, to implement partnership opportunities
- Help monitor and measure the success and impact of partnerships and deal terms
- Evaluate new partnership opportunities and provide analysis on innovative ways to expand existing partnerships
- Develop executive updates for partnership opportunities and progress through visual and analytical presentations
- Keep abreast of key industry trends and market conditions across all media (e.g., traditional, digital, etc.) in informing various opportunities
Qualifications- 5+ years experience in media, advertising/marketing, technology or consulting
- Experience with supporting negotiations of business terms with media, digital, and/or technology companies
- Meaningful knowledge of digital distribution and monetization
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and track record of cultivating relationships internally and with external partners
- Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize partnership opportunities and related tasks in line with strategic business objectives
- Ability to work well independently as well as with a collaborative team
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and CoPilot and/or other AI skills
- Experience building and interpreting basic financial models
Desired Qualifications- History of leading or playing a key role in partnership negotiations
- Understanding of technologies that support digital advertising (ad serving, tracking, measurement, etc.)
- Experience in seeking new partnership opportunities and/or building growth strategies
- History of collaborating with coworkers at all levels and across functions/divisions of the organization
- Ability to influence and promote action amongst colleagues who are neither direct reports nor in the same department
- Experience in positively influencing company culture through cross-team collaboration
- Knowledge of, or interest in, applications of AI in the media sector
- Comfort with collaborating and/or communicating with senior leaders
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $125,000 - $155,000 + Bonus eligible
