Senior Appian Developer Why This is an Exciting Role:As an Appian Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), some of your duties will include designing, building, and deploying applications using the Appian low-code automation platform, focusing on workflow automation, data fabric, and user interface design. This role is essential for rapid application development and will require skills in application architecture, process modeling, and integration.
- Building, testing, and troubleshooting applications using Appian's low-code environment.
- Designing and implementing complex business process workflows
- Creating data records and connecting Appian with external systems.
- Design user-friendly interfaces and interfaces for mobile and web.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support and enhancements to Appian applications.
- Transform client requirements into functional Appian solutions through design, development, and testing.
- Participate in Agile software delivery, ensuring high-quality user experience and application usability.
Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:- 13 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience
Required Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph
- Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms
- Front-end or back-end software development skills
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience with REST APIs
- Working knowledge of database engineering or backend services to support custom data integrations and migrations
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
