DescriptionPLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for a motivated Application Developer to join the Eurasia & Western Hemisphere mission. The Developer will collaborate directly with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to capture requirements then design, develop and deploy end-to-end technical solutions that deliver immediate operational impact to mission workflows.
Responsibilities
- Mission Focus: By working within the cloud environment and customer specific data repositories, create user-facing applications, develop and maintain RESTful APIs, incorporate data visualizations, and establish CI/CD pipelines for secure deployment. Successful solutions will deliver immediate operational value to the analysts.
- Technical Proficiency: Develop end-to-end applications that integrate front-end U/I with back-end services to support analyst workflows. Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories required.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field of study
- 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Python, PySpark, Java, Javascript; solid experience with XKS, Mission Data Repositories, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSUREWAVE, Elasticsearch, Git repositories
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, collection cycle, database queries is highly desired.
Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming.
- Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs)
Salary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
