Description Senior IT Business Analyst: As a member of the IT Solutions team, the Senior IT Business Analyst specializes in analyzing business processes within and across features, as well as breaking complex business problems down into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. The Senior IT Business Analyst demonstrates expertise in reconciling functional requirements from multiple and at times competing business units and ensures that the acceptance testing and documentation of test results are conducted during the delivery of new IT solutions. This role collaborates with both technical and non-technical teams and must tailor communication to diverse audiences effectively. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic team environment, adapts well to change, and excels in supporting software development teams that deliver valuable IT solutions to business stakeholders.
Essential Functions: - Conduct analyses on complex business processes to identify and document deficiencies, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement through future-state business process documentation
- Serve the organization as a subject matter expert in relation to key business processes by maintaining knowledge and documentation across key features and associated systems
- Gather business and technical solution requirements by conducting process workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog refinement to translate business or IT needs into accurate and meaningful epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own or facilitate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of user stories or whole features to ensure successful release preparedness and support the QA team in advising on overall test strategy within or across teams
- Present business and IT leadership with scope estimations, cost-benefit analyses, and solution assessments to drive organizational decision making
- Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology and compliance obligations.
- Advocate for both functional and technical best practices by working with functional leads, technical leads and the Enterprise Solution Architect.
- Build and maintain process and project documentation in Confluence/Box and other tools as adopted by the organization
- Assist in maintaining logs and supporting closure for priority risks, action items, decisions, assumptions and blockers.
- Facilitate change management in areas affected by development activities. Evaluate system changes for downstream teams, system and/or organizational impact.
- Perform the role of Scrum Master and/or Project Manager as needed, undertake duties such as leading agile ceremonies, creating project plans, reporting project status across the organization, planning and facilitating end-to-end UAT activities, and creating deployment and cutover plans.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, with regular on-site presence of up to 2 days per week.
- Flexibility to travel up to 5%, with the potential for increased travel or in-office presence as business needs evolve.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM highly preferred.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence suite highly preferred.
- Experience with process documentation tools (Visio, Lucid, Miro) required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall or Scaled Agile Frameworks required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized projects; project management background preferred.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to quickly learn new applications, systems, and technologies.
- Working knowledge of information systems, business applications (developed and third-party), networks, and telecommunications systems.
Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related studies preferred.
- Six (6) or more years of related experience, which includes at least three (3) or more years of related experience supporting a variety of business software, and three (3) or more years of experience supporting IT with systems implementations as a Business SME or Product Owner.
- Salesforce certification(s) a plus (Administrator, Business Analyst, Advanced Administrator).
- Knowledge of MuleSoft or Enterprise Integration Strategies are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience using and supporting developed and purchased business applications.
- Demonstrated experience discussing issues at a technical or non-technical level, depending on the audience.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a persistent focus to perform troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Demonstrated experience planning and organizing work activities to meet deadlines for yourself and teams.

Compensation: Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $100,000 - $116,000. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
